A squirrel adrift, on a basketball he does roam,
Wobbles and sways ,far away from his home.
With a keen little gaze, he scans for the shore,
Seeking the branches he’s longing for more.
The gentle waves rock him, a dance in the sun,
As he dreams of the treetops, where adventures are fun.
With each little bounce, he hopes to find land,
A safe, sturdy perch where he can make his stand.
